The roses riot in May around here.
Look! The house nearly blends into the clear blue sky.
I wonder if they thought of that
when they painted the house this particular blue…
I think it was originally white…with forest green trim.
But the house next door is white, with blue trim.
They must have thought
That just won’t do …
So let’s go ahead and paint it blue!
